R1 (REMOTELY IMPLEMENTED AT THE BEGINNINGS OF THE FIRST SCHOOL YEAR 2023-2024) : THE FIRST TRANSNATIONAL MEETING OF TEACHERS
Results are given on this page but it is quickly described (as also the plenar committees implemented during the cooperative mobilities) in:  THE PUBLIC WEBSITE LegendE+

THE FIRST CHECK POINT WAS DONE IN NOVEMBER, 2023 (CP1) - AND
CP1 FEEDBACK WAS FINISHED BEFORE FEBRUARY, 2024
CHECK POINTS 2 & 3 WERE IMPLEMENTED IN MARCH THEN IN APRIL, 2024 AFTER THE COOPERATIVE MOBILITIES TO CESME AND BALDONE

THE CP2+3 FEEDBACK WAS SUPPOSED TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE JUNE (IN ORDER TO HELP THE COORDINATOR TO BE ABLE TO WRITE THE PROGRESS REPORT) BUT IT WAS NECESSARY TO NOTE, AT THE TIME OF THE R2 MEETING (SECOND TEACHERS' SEMINAR AND CONCLUSIVE STAGE AFTER THE CP 2+3) THAT THE "BENEFICIARY MODULE" COMPLETION TOOL WAS NOT YET OPEN... THE REPORTING TASKS WERE THEREFORE POSTPONED TO FALL 2025

TRANSNATIONAL MEETING R1
R1 videoconference / october 23
made on line the 14th of october, 2023
at the same time some videoconferences between learners were implemented for the ERASMUSDAYS

RESULTS:
Communication about the weak points of the application
Agenda: first talks to fix C1 and C2 mobilities
>CP1 FEEDBACK / QUESTIONNAIRE FOR
PROJECT LEADERS

Propaganda

67% of partner schools have already put certain educational products online but 33% are expected to do so within a short time; not surprising since the implementation of the project has only just begun
33% of partner schools have not yet published the start of cooperative action: this must be remedied as quickly as possible

All the project holders are confident enough their own abilities to manage the numerical tools or think they could obtain some help at home in order to disseminate easily.

The staffs know the project does exist, in every school (except in one case) cause information was given to colleagues and other employes and an Erasmus+ corner and (sometimes a few) Erasmus+ blackboard(s) were created for touching all the comunity and especially the students. Probably the reason why one partner is declaring information was not transmitted to all staff but only a part of is because of separated entities located far away each other but managed as an only one school

100% of project holders say they have informed a large number of learners, beyond just the target group in the strict sense
83% have informed all staff
50% have already communicated to families (2 schools did it by letters and online, 1 school organized a concrete meeting with parents): now mobilities are fixed so all the eachers may enter in a dialog with learners and parents to recruit participants

PROJECT LEADERS

Activities monitoring

A7/A4/A5 are the main topics the partners are presumed to face with as the project is just beginning.
Only the Turkish partner has already worked on the popular science website to be produced as the output corresponding the third specific objective of the second axis "Studying the crossing of borders of all sorts and the limits of knowledge.. Cesme is leader of WP3 module  and will organize the first learners meeting.

A4+A5 was seen in Italy, the other schools were mainly centered on A4 but planned to study also A5, especially in the framework of some activities made online (videoconferences) implemented by Lycée Ravel in the framework of the #Erasmusdays
Concerning the modalities of selection of learners taking part in the partnership's activities and/or mobilities, the IC does consider answers given by contact persons are brief enough 'or even allusive) and will ask for more details (to be shared before C2

explanation about our priorities, reminder of the Quality Control modalities and issues by the IC, first leads for the changes to be done in the timeline and agenda [WP1] due to the decision not to organize more than two outing exits per school year; financial situation we must overcome making asap our progress report in order to be funded early enough toimplemen the mobilies planned during the next school year

plenar committee to fix the decisions [WP1].

>CP2 DECISIONS

Mobility C3 is fixed in Romania. Dates to be arranged during C2 (october or november, 2024)
Mobility C4 is fixed in Portugal. Probably later than in the original timeline (march or april, 2025?) due to C4 suppression in 2024-2025 (Mobility to Roma postponed to the following school year)
Mobility C5 in Italy in November 2025 is a good solution.

PLENAR COMMITTEES OF TEACHERS AND PROJECT HOLDERS: three workshops

SURVEY: one satisfaction questionnaire

PC1,  PC2 and PC3 in Baldone:

click to^^enlarge

PC1 FOLLOW UP

      1. Tasks reporting procedure: inventory, gaps, activities to be described before the month of June to help draft the interim report.
      2. Budgetary situation: we will need each school to establish the total amount of costs it has incurred, before C2 then after C2. It is necessary to show an overall consumption of 70% of the first tranche (by all the partners and not by each of them) to be able to claim payment of the second part of the subsidies.
      3. Setting the timetable: at least approximate dates for localized cooperation C4, in Portugal (planned in January according to the application) and -if it's possible- precise for C3 (with a view to pre-recruiting students before going on vacation this summer).

PC2 QUALITY CONTROL

  1. Satisfaction questionnaires
  2. Efficience and Impacts (tools for measurement)
  3. Targeted groups: an update on the initial selection criteria as transmitted to the IC, a debate on the recruitment strategy accompanying the evolution of the calendar and taking into account cost inflation

PC3 PEDAGOGIC MONITORING

      1. WP2 management (Latvia, Italy) : main outputs of the first phase (A4 and A5) and goals for next year (A5+A6) and C5.
      2. WP3 management (France, Turkey) : contributions expected for C4 (Portuguese navigators) and future dissemination
      3. WP4 management (France, Portugal) : progression and schedule, insertion in the mobilities
      4. WP5 management (France, Romania)

WP2 (module 2 SUR LES FRONTIÈRES) LEARNING SESSIONS CENTERED ON BORDERS : in the classrooms, also in some remote coworkings, and in the collaborative workshops implemented during mobilities C1,C2, C3 and C5

WP3 (module 3 VERS L'INFINI ET AU DELÀ) PRODUCE A POPULAR SCIENCE WEBSITE: topic is the understanding of the world, the known and the unknown; the most important of deliverable output after the documentary movie

WP4 (module 4 DANS TOUT LE ROYAUME) PRODUCE A DOCUMENTARY FILM: considering “climate refugges” among other subjects (transnational footage from C2 and in the following meetings, local interviews about migration to be shared in C4)

WP5 (module 5 DANSER SUR UNE PETITE PLANÈTE) DANCING and LIVING TOGETHER: in order to produce a choregraphied transnational performance at the end of the partnership (and to share good times all along the project is ongoing)

Comments on the Satisfaction Questionaires: in the Progress Report

>CP3 DECISIONS

PC1
All the report sheets were examined. A few ones are still missing and must be given to the IC before R2.
Spends Level before and after C2 must be calculated in each school for the IC to check if 70% of the total amount of the "first tranche" was engaged. It is the condition to ask immediately for more money to the Agency (costs are increasing and it will be difficult to reach all the mobilities aims).
C4 dates were fixed: 17-22 march, 2025

PC2
Satisfaction questionaires and/or relevance grids are not sufficient enough to evaluate the tangible changes due the implementation of Be.Bo.P: we'll use the indicators disseminated at the beginnings of the project, and others if project holders want make some proposals concerning this question...

More details were asked to the local teams to well undestand the selection criteria they used to choose the students taking part in the partnership and especially people invited in the cooperative mobilities. The IC asked for a best coherence between the declared planning and the reports of activities transmitted to him.

PC3
Some ideas did emerge. A "flash mob" for the WP5 activities in Roma (C5) for instance, after dancing with external persons then migrants (C3 and C4)...
Note most of WP2 tasks were done during this first school year; production for WP3 must be stimulated by the C4 mobility (explorers, navigators) and WP4 acmé is to begin from C3 - since students have to find the subject, write and do the movie (probably several "happy few" students with skills should be preferred to a numerous group due to economic issues - for the same reason, it is not sure our expert will go more longer on the help to our project; it will depend of our capability to pay him).

TRANSNATIONAL MEETING R2
CP2+3 FEEDBACK
plenar committee in Baldone / C2
Update on people involved inmobility: very numerous during phase 1

As a reminder, the commitments of the application are limited:
1 to 2 teachers per outing cooperative travel, therefore between 5 and 10 during the entire project
4 to 5 students, therefore 20 to 25
At a minimum, each partner must transport 5 adults and 20 learners, which was recalled by the Project Manager, in particular, in note BB12. But the evaluation of the application revealed an incentive to incorporate more participants if possible.
In fact, the initial objective was doubled during the first localized cooperations, in the optimistic context of the launch of the project: we hoped to have 50 people travel per school (10 teachers and 40 students). France, for example, achieved through C1 and C2 trips: 6 executive mobilities (teachers, experts) and 22 learner mobilities The minimum level required for the entire cooperation by the joint application has already been reached by Lycée Ravel.

CP2+3 FEEDBACK
Budget crisis and solutions

Most schools have spent their first tranche of grant and are now worried about it, despite repeated warnings from the international coordinator (note BB7 on the occasion of the first Quality Control point encouraging not to exceed the gauge of 5 to 6 learners without having verified the feasibility of a possible excess, a new call for caution formulated in BB8 - where the supposedly superior resources of the French coordinator were mentioned - then in BB9, which recalled that C3 mobility must in theory be financed from the budget allocated to WP2, or even: from the first tranche of 40% of the grant, paid at the start of 2024).
The first decision taken by the International Coordinator to deal with the explosion in the cost of air transport was to implement the principle of a remote transnational R3 meeting. Then, we decided to end beyond the first year (and unless possible recourse to funding external to the Be.Bo.P partnership) the collaboration with the anticipated paid experts, for the video part as well as for the choreography. It is obvious that, as far as the Lycée Ravel is concerned at least, it is not possible to maintain large numbers of outgoing mobilities: both the number of learners and that of staff supervising these activities will have to be adjusted.

CP2+3 FEEDBACK
French Boys and Alessandra exploring the Dauga castle / C2

Writing and directing a documentary (WP4)
The expected film is not of professional quality. In the worst case, it can be completed without expertise outside of that of the learners and teachers involved in the project (in addition, resources exist within the ILARGIA League to help with the editing of the final product). Its subject must be freely determined: it is not necessarily a question of insisting on political borders (which is the case in the WP2 module). Whatever the initial idea formulated and retained by the students, and validated by the teachers, the documentary must, to be faithful to the purpose of the application, evoke (or deal with) the problem of climate refugees, and evoke (or deal with ) the theme of migration (through the project's study travels, in particular). But there is no question of forcing learners to exclusively report on the partnership.
Sharing contents in an international framework
Unsurprisingly, since this problem had been anticipated by the Project Manager (note BB8 indicating that at least two course sessions would be necessary to present all the expected productions) it did not turn out to be very practical (nor frankly useful in the framework of transnational cooperations) that each school shows more than a glimpse of the research carried out at home. Especially since valid productions are posted online in LegendE+ To limit the time allocated upstream of C2 and for the entire duration of the partnership, each school limits itself to a partial presentation of 10 to 15 minutes of its activities clean (note BB11)
